EB and EL GT

Here are some photos and scans of the brochures for the EB and EL GT’s. The EB GT was a 25th Anniversary model, and the EL GT was a 30th Anniversary model. Both utilised input from Tickford, with whom Ford Australia had entered into a partnership, with Tickford providing engine and suspension tuning upgrades and consultancy.

Normal EB Falcons were delivered to Tickford for modification.

265 EB GT Falcons were built.

250 were for the Australian market and 15 were for export.

109 were Black Pearl in colour, code J4. 4 of those were for export.

88 were Cardinal Red in colour, code G5. 6 of those were for export.

68 were Cobalt Blue in colour, code C9. 5 of those were for export.

Key Fob

EB GT’s came with serialised key fobs that tied in with the car’s number.

Each car had a serialised ID plate.

And an individually numbered print.

Leather covered owners manual.

Numbered door badge.

And an EL GT unique 240kph speedometer.

Factory shots

271 EL GT’s were built.

248 were for the Australian market and 22 were for export.

156 were Sparkling Burgundy in colour, code B5. 14 of those were for export.

63 were heritage Green in colour, code E3. 5 of those were for export.

52 were Navy Blue in colour, code N9. 3 of those were for export.
